Dear Praying Friends and family,
Unfortunately, by the time this email goes out it will be Sunday AM and the baby will be a day old. But, nonetheless, we do have exciting news that Israel David Wrachford made his appearance at 9:03 am on Saturday Feb 16! He weighed in at a whopping 10 lb 3 oz at birth and 21 inches. He seems to be a very happy little fellow and we are loving him to death.
As you all probably know, my wife and I had decided to go the midwife route. However, near the end of her labor, it became necessary to transport to a hospital as my wife was unable to finish the final stages of labor due to the baby’s size. Once we transported there, they were able to give her the help she needed without doing a c section. And she completed the labor in two more hrs, which was a great relief to her from the nearly two days worth of labor she had already been through. We are thankful all went well. However, as you can imagine that this will be quite a bit of an expense we were not anticipating. Please pray that God would meet the need. God has been so good to us. We wanted to include a picture so you can put a face with the update 🙂
