Philosophical Stances
I Believe…
- That the extremes of Calvinism and Arminianism are both unbiblical.
- That all forms of compromise with liberalism, ecumenicism, neo-evangelicalism, or the charismatic movement should be avoided by those who wish to live in obedience to God.
- That the King James Version is the best English translation of the Bible.
- That music should be conservative and is an instrument of glorifying God. Therefore, we must be careful to avoid worldly styles of music.
- That the purpose of the Evangelist is to serve the Pastor in whatever way is needed so that the gospel message can go out to those in the surrounding area. The work of the Evangelist is carrying the gospel to the lost and the message of victory for the believer in his walk with God. Both will aid in the development of the local church. This is a task to be accomplished by the Evangelist cooperating with the Pastor of a local church for the time that he is serving there.
