Souls For Jesus

Dear praying friends,

We are so excited to update you all on how God has been working over the last month!

In April, we had a young lady named Trista come on our van route to church. She fell under great conviction and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior after the service. That evening she was baptized! Please continue to pray for her growth.

I (Karyn) have been blessed to continue mentoring my brother-in-law Micah in sign language. We take turns teaching the class on Sundays with the deaf family. Please pray specifically for the hearts of each one of these children: Caleb, Dalton, Dale Jr. and Kalilah. Pray that God would open their eyes to the Gospel.

We are always amazed at how God continues to bring people into our paths that need Jesus. Over the last month, God has allowed us to witness to many people including: Bess, Heather, Bobbie, Kelly, Nikki and so many more. Pray for the salvation of these precious souls.

Nikki is a lady I met while attending a sign language class at a local library. She is a Jehovah’s Witness. Praise God we have been able to meet once so far and discuss the Bible and salvation. Please pray as we continue to meet that God would open her eyes to the truth.

My husband has had the opportunity to continue teaching the teen class at our church. Please pray for our faithful teens JT, Jordan, and Micah to continue to grow in their walk with the Lord. Also pray for the salvation and faithfulness of our van teens, Jerry and Adessa. We know God has a wonderful plan for these young people and the devil is working overtime to pull them away.

We are also excited to be a part of a special Gospel outreach program at our church called The John Project. We are going out in our community challenging people to read the Gospel of John in one month and then we will follow up with them answering questions and presenting the gospel. This past Thursday, we started the project and we have already had 7 people commit to read John! Praise the Lord for how He leads and guides us to those hungry souls. Please pray that they will be open to the Gospel. We are praying about the possibility of helping other churches who may be interested in starting a similar program at their church after we see how things go at our home church. If you would be interested in doing something like this, please let us know and we would be happy to help you launch a similar outreach.

My husband also has been filling in at various churches with pulpit supply. We had great opportunities at one church in Fairmont, WV who is in search of a pastor currently. This Sunday, he filled in for Pastor Shawn Madrid in Mt Joy, Pa. who is on vacation. We are very thankful for each opportunity God gives and would love to serve you if you are in need of pulpit supply for any reason.

We are having the time of our lives raising our little Israel. He turned 3 months old a week ago and is already almost 14 pounds! He is smiling, laughing, cooing, and moving a whole lot. So far he seems to enjoy traveling. Please continue to pray that he would adjust well and God would give us wisdom as we raise him for His glory.

In addition to the prayer needs mentioned, please pray for:

-Ladies Banquet, wisdom as I teach on May 25th at my church

-More church meetings

-2 mission trip opportunities

-More witnessing opportunities

Once again, we would like to express how thankful we are to you all for your continued prayers and financial support!

Joyfully serving our risen Savior,

The Wrachfords
