Preach the GOSPEL

– Mark 16:15

Merry Christmas!!

Dear Friends and Family,

I wanted to start out by saying merry Christmas from our family to yours! We hope that you have a wonderful and Christ honoring time and enjoy some extra time with  friends and family! Hopefully, you will read this before the day is out anyway, but if not, a belated merry Christmas. We are very thankful for each of you with your faithful prayers and friendship; serving along side you is always such a blessing and you are in our prayers on a regular basis. I trust that you will have a great 2019 as well and that God will richly bless you as you serve Him!

Since the last update, so much has happened, my wife has started a class for the deaf family that has been coming to our home church, so she enjoys doing this when we are not on the road. Please pray specifically for them that they would understand the gospel and be saved.

Recently, I was able to go up to help Pastor Penberthey for whom many of you have been praying. He seems to be doing well considering the circumstances, but he is definitely looking forward to being back in action full swing as soon as possible. Continue to pray for him as he faces his next surgery for the final knee replacement in the near future. I was able to get out and visit several of his church members for him while I was filling in for him a couple of weeks ago. My wife was not able to go so we have been blessed to be back together again and are looking forward to celebrating Christmas with family!

Many of you have been praying about our vehicle and travel trailer situation. After much prayer, God has led us to purchase a small utility trailer for the time being to accommodate all our luggage during travels which was our biggest immediate need with the baby coming. We will just continue to wait on the Lord to see what else He may have for us. Please pray for us as we get the hitch installed on the car in the next couple of days that everything will go well in His will. We are so thankful that our car is doing so well and has continued to run without any major issues.

We had a tremendous meeting with Pastor Livermore back in November with visitors pretty much every night and excellent attendance. We are thankful for the tender hearts. This Christmas season has been very busy helping with the church wide Christmas banquet at our home church and preaching for Pastor Stevenson at his church Christmas banquet. In the month of January I will be preaching for a pastor’s fellowship in central Pa. I am looking forward to the time of fellowship and making connection with different pastors.

We have switched recently to a midwife for the baby since it is a much more affordable option and has more of the type of care we had been wanting anyway. We are thankful for her and how nice she has been. Hard to believe that the baby is due to arrive in just a few weeks.

We are looking forward to this coming year and all that God has in store for our family and the upcoming meetings. Please continue to keep us in your prayers

In closing, we would like you to pray:

  • for a healthy mom and baby in the delivery process
  • for our child to be saved at an early age.
  • for the upcoming pastor’s fellowship that God would use it to be a blessing to the pastors
  • for more meetings in this upcoming year, especially VBS
  • God’s power in preaching and soul winning efforts
  • God’s provision

Joyfully Serving our Risen Saviour,

Stephen, Karyn and baby Wrachford
