Merry Christmas

Dear praying friends and family,

Merry Christmas to each of you! It is hard to believe another year has come and gone! I trust that each of you are doing well and enjoying God’s richest blessings in this season. We have so much to thank God for in sending His Son Jesus to this earth and for His blessings from day to day.

I wanted to take the time to update everyone on what is going on in my ministry as August was the last time that I had sent one out. I do want to apologize for the long delay. However, there are so many things that have been going on as I have been waiting to see how God would lead. You may remember that in my last prayer letter  I mentioned an unspoken prayer request. I am happy to be able to say that I can say God has answered with a resounding yes. I am so thankful for God’s leading as He has brought Karyn, a young lady with a missions heart and a desire for soul-winning into my life! Just last week we were engaged to be married! I am attaching picture of us so that you can see the answer to prayer. I am so grateful for her friendship and for how God has brought us together. We want to wish you all a merry Christmas together, and thank each of you for your prayers. We are excited what God has in the days ahead as we prepare to serve the Lord together. We have plans to be married on May 12, 2018. She has been a short term missionary for a time in Peru and is now back in the states. God has clearly led us both down the path to this point. Pray for us as we plan to report back to her churches next year after marriage and hopefully be able to present the ministry to the churches once again. Our goal is to be able to continue taking meetings overseas as well as help smaller ministries who cannot afford to have an evangelist. We both have a great desire to further the cause of assisting in church planting and revival work.  We are excited for the VBS opportunities that have come up for 2018. We look forward to continuing to serve the Lord in full time evangelism taking VBS and revival meetings. If God would so lead, we would love to take the opportunity to serve you.

I wanted to also let you know of another opportunity that God has given to us as I have been asked to represent Flying Eagle Ranch. This is a camp in Ga that has a soul-winning heart and God has been doing some great things with this camp. Levi Rose Jr.  just became the director as of this past summer and Lord willing, I will be preaching there for the second time this coming summer. Please pray for God’s leading in how and what I should do in my connection with this ministry.

Things have been going well in the ministry at the church where I am serving on staff in between meetings. There has been one young man named Tyler who accepted Christ as his personal Saviour. There have also been a couple of young people who really seem to want to make some steps of growth. I just praise God for all that He has done.

In closing, I would like to leave you with a few specific prayer requests.

  1. That God would be glorified in every decision that needs to be made as Karyn and I plan to be married.
  2. For Christ to be magnified in our lives together and that He would have first place
  3. For Tyler to continue to grow and  be faithful to church.
  4. That God would continue to supply meetings

Once again, I want to thank you for all your prayers and support over these last few years as I have been serving God alone and looking forward to a new chapter as Karyn and I serve the Lord together. We both covet your continued prayers and look forward to seeing some of you soon.

Joyfully Serving our Risen Saviour,

Stephen Wrachford
